Their challenging private school classes use experiential education, differentiated instruction, alternative learning methods, and interactive lessons to educate teens. Founded in Central Florida over 35 thirty years ago as Stonesoup School, their philosophy and enthusiasm for education continue to guide the school today. Stonesoup School, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation recognized by the Florida Department of Education. As the day school component to Stonesoup School’s boarding school, The Jacob School was created to meet the need of independent-thinking students who wanted a creative, challenging education.
